ASHEVILLE – A man was arrested today and charged with assaulting a woman with a knife and kidnapping her. Advertisement Lewis Kyle Wilson, 31, of 62 Craven St., also was charged with possession with intent to sell marijuana and psilocybin (magic mushrooms), possession of drug paraphernalia and maintaining a house resorted to by persons using a controlled substance. Wilson assaulted a woman with a knife, cutting her head, neck, face and arms, injuring her seriously, according to the police report. Her condition was not available Thursday night. Wilson is being held at the Buncombe County Detention Facility in lieu of $115,500 secured bond. He is scheduled to appear in court Monday morning.
