And that's all we have for you guys. Overall a really good card of fights, not a boring bout to be seen. The flyweights brought the fast paced action and even the battles which didn't rise to the greatest of heights ended in a submission or a TKO. There might not have been too many big names on the card but you know what they say about low expectations. I think the fans would have left happy. Although Mr White, we'd like to see some of the megastars out here next time. Hopefully in Brisbane later this year. The Aussies finished 1-1, 2-1 if you count Te Huna. So that's another plus. Overall another successful foray into Australia by the UFC. Thanks for following.

ROUND THREE: The pair of them come out throwing with power, Alves with his fists and Kampmann with his leg. Alves tries a sneaky takedown after coming forward with some punches but nothing comes of it. Kampmann keeps pressing Alves against the cage, making things increasingly uncomfortable for Alves. Alves delivers another leg kick while Kampmann comes forward with a knee. But they're both still standing ready for more. Neither looks fully prepared to open up and risk being caught, Alves stuffing a takedown. Alves comes forward with a strong fist late in the round before throwing a leg kick. He manages to takedown Kampmann but in the process opens himself up to one of the Dane's textbook guillotines. Kampmann rolls on top applies the hold and Alves taps out very late in the round. SUBMISSION (4.12) Would have been interesting to see how that would have been scored if it went to the judges but Kampmann made sure he got the W. A good bout.
